Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed this Sunday that the strategic city of Liman, located in the east of the country in one of the regions annexed by Russia, had been “completely evacuated” by Moscow troops.

“At 12:30 local time (09:30 GMT), Limán is completely free. Thanks to our military!” he said in a video posted to social media.
