Reconciled with Flavin?
Stallone’s divorce has reportedly been put on hold

After 25 years of marriage, Jennifer Flavin filed for divorce from Sylvester Stallone in August. But the rift may not be that great: An American tabloid newspaper reports that the two have become closer again. The dreaded War of the Roses was therefore not forthcoming.

Sylvester Stallone and wife Jennifer Flavin are said to have reconciled. A spokesperson for the actor confirmed this to an American medium. The divorce proceedings have apparently been suspended. Jennifer Flavin filed for divorce from Sylvester Stallone on August 19, 2022 in Palm Beach County, Florida. But as the tabloid “Page Six” now reports, the couple would have changed their minds. “They met at home, talked and were able to resolve their differences. They are both very happy,” said a representative of the actor. “TMZ” previously reported that the divorce proceedings have been suspended for a few days. According to Page Six, this is directly related to the alleged reconciliation of the couple.

Stallone fueled rumors of a possible reconciliation a few days ago after he posted two photos with his wife on Instagram. In one photo, the two can be seen with their backs to the camera and holding hands, in the other they are smiling at the camera with their three daughters. “Amazing,” Stallone wrote succinctly of the two snapshots.

Stallone, 76, and Flavin, 54, met in 1988 and were married on May 17, 1997 in London. In August 1996, their first daughter Sophia Rose was born. In June 1998 Sistine Rose was born and in May 2002 Scarlet Rose was born. After the breakup, it seemed that the two wanted to avoid a War of the Roses. Both spoke in public only on the highest note of each other. “I am saddened to announce that after 25 years of marriage I have filed for divorce from my husband Sylvester Stallone,” Flavin told People Magazine. Though the two would soon be unmarried, she would “always cherish the 30-plus year relationship we shared.” She also knows that “we are both committed to our beautiful daughters”.

According to “People”, Sylvester Stallone then rejected the claim that the joint fortune was wasted intentionally. According to People, Flavin’s allegations were in the divorce papers. Flavin and her lawyers allegedly demanded that “the spouse be prohibited from selling, transferring, assigning, encumbering or wasting property during these proceedings.” Stallone’s lawyers are said to have subsequently stated, “The spouse has not engaged in any conduct that constitutes intentional waste, depletion and/or squandering of marital property.”
