MMA fighter Coline Biron finished her fight against Aysun Erge with a submission technique rarely seen in the sport.
Biron and Erge squared off in a strawweight bout in the UAE Warriors 33 preliminaries last Saturday. Both fighters had a back and forth battle in the first round of the bout, mostly in grappling exchanges.
Biron and Erge started again in the second round, although the fight took a drastic turn after Biron turned the inferior position into an advantage.

Biron’s arrival on Erge is the first victory of her professional MMA career after losing her debut to Denice Zamboanga in January 2017. She has competed on the amateur scene in the Philippines for the past two years.
As for Erge, she picked up back-to-back wins over Tunzala Imanly and Fateme Golpayega entering UAE Warriors 33. The bout with Biron was her first MMA bout in just over three years.
In the UAE Warriors 33 main event, Jesse Arnett faced Ali AlQaisi for the featherweight title.
