Michoacán suspended classes in more than 10 communities due to earthquake damage

To Earthquake of 6.9 with an epicenter in Coalcomán, Michoacán recorded in the early hours of September 22, the State Secretariat for Education (SEE) reported. Classes are suspended indefinitely in the schools damaged after the incident.

The head of the said dependency, Yarabí Ávila, instructed the educational institutions to do so keep classes away in cases which, according to civil protection, pose a risk for students and teachers.

Overall they are 11 churches that will not have in-person activities until next Monday, September 26th: Aguililla, Apatzingan, Aquila, Arteaga, Buenavista, Chinicuila, Coahuayana, Coalcoman, Lázaro Cardenas, Tepalcatepec and Tumbiscatio.

This measure is also applied to them Campuses that have been activated as shelters to receive the people affected after the earthquakes and aftershocks registered since September 19th.
