After her son Jayden spoke publicly about the relationship with her, Britney Spears is angry and sad at the same time. Not only does she hand out her ex-husband, she also teases the 15-year-old.
Britney Spears has responded to the interview her son Jayden James gave to ITV via Instagram. He stated, among other things, that the singer had difficulty paying attention to her two sons and “showing us equal love”. Referring to his brother, he added, “And I don’t think she showed Preston enough.” It will take “a lot of time and effort” to mend the broken relationship with his mother. However, the 15-year-old also showed willingness to reconcile.
In her Instagram post, Spears was initially saddened by her son’s statements about his childhood. “My love for my children knows no bounds and it saddens me to hear him complain that I have not lived up to his expectations as a mother,” the 40-year-old wrote.
Referring to her long custody, she then added in a sharper tone to Jayden, “Perhaps dear child, can you explain to me why our family would do that to someone! I helped your father who has not had a job for 15 years. I think that it’s easier for you if no one checks you to make sure you’re doing your homework.” Of her ex-husband and father of her sons, Kevin Federline, she said: “I’m sure your father’s standards of smoking weed every day will benefit your everyday life at 15 and 16, as it is a cool generation.”
“Your father is a hypocrite”
Federline had also given the broadcaster an interview as part of a documentary. In it, he states, among other things, that the media attention that accompanied Spears’ struggle against her custody of father Jamie Spears also had an impact on him and his sons. It was hard for him to see what Jayden and Sean had to go through because of that. “It’s terrible to see your father being hypocritical and saying the media is terrible, but he lets you talk to them about personal matters,” Spears said in her post.
In his interview, Jayden also spoke about the subject of custody and his grandfather Jamie Spears: “At the beginning he just tried to be like any father and let his daughter chase her dream of becoming a superstar. But I think that custody takes too long my mom was probably so angry that she had to work so long and i think she should have taken a break.” He loves Jamie Spears with all his heart. He and Spears’ mother Lynne are “not bad people.”
“As for my sanity, my dear child, you must understand that before you even think about my intellect, you must learn to pick up a book and read it,” said Britney Spears, angry at her son’s ratings.
