Jocoro was enough with one goal to defeat CD Dragon at the Polideportivo Tierra del Fuego Stadium

Jocoro defeated CD Dragon 1-0 at home in a match for Date 1 of Zone A of the El Salvador – Torneo Apertura 2022 tournament. The local scored the only goal of the match through Juan Argueta in the 24th minute of the first half. After receiving the ball on the right side, the midfielder scored from within his own half and beat the keeper with a fantastic goal to remember.
The best player of the match was Juan Argueta. The Jocoro midfielder scored 1 goal.
Julián Chicas also excelled at the Polideportivo Tierra de Fuego stadium. Jocoro’s goalkeeper shone.
The meeting had warned several: Kevin Moreno, Yair Arboleda, Marvin Benítez, Henry Maldonado and Roque Caballero.
Jocoro’s coach Jorge Pineda suggested a 5-4-1 formation with Héctor Ramírez in goal; Carlos Arévalo, Salvador Galindo, Nelson Alvarenga, Elvis Claros and Nelson Moreno on the defensive line; Walter Guevara, Henry Maldonado, Juan Argueta and Junior Padilla at center; and Yuvini Salamanca in attack.
For its part, Marvin Benítez’s team took the field with a 4-3-3 scheme with William Torres under the three sticks; Kevin Berríos, Kevin Moreno, Yohalin Palacios and Luis Méndez in defense; Elmer Bonilla, Zidane Martínez and Herbert Sosa in midfield; and Yair Arboleda, Luis Angulo and Jhon Montaño in front.
Jocoro’s next game in the league will be played as a guest against Platense while hosting CD Dragón Chalatenango.
