After her “amicable” split from Jason Sudeikis, Olivia Wilde is dating her co-star Harry Styles in early 2021. The ex-couple’s former nanny now tells a completely different story. Accordingly, the actress cheated on her fiancé.
It has been clear since the end of April at the latest that the separation of Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis was by no means amicable. At the time when the actress and director presented her film “Don’t Worry Darling” on the stage of CinemaCon in Los Angeles, she received a large, yellow envelope with the inscription “Personal and Confidential” in her hand. The contents: custody documents from her ex-fiancé, with whom she has two small children.
Now another person is getting involved in the divorce drama. In an interview with the Daily Mail, the couple’s former nanny claims she was caught amid mounting tensions between the ‘Ted Lasso’ star and his ex. The woman, who is not mentioned by name, doesn’t just reveal spicy details about alleged relationship therapies that Wilde reportedly “never took seriously”. She also accuses the 38-year-old of infidelity.
Despite numerous reports that the Hollywood stars broke up amicably before Wilde began dating now-boyfriend Harry Styles, the nanny claims this was not the case. “On the Monday morning of November 9 (2020), when I came back from a weekend off, (Jason) cried a lot, cried and cried. I didn’t know at all what had happened,” she told the Daily Mail. “After I finished getting the kids ready, Jason came up the stairs and had coffee. He cried and was all upset and said, ‘She’s left us. She’s left us!’”
A few days later, Sudeikis discovered via text messages on an old Apple Watch that Wilde had left in their house that Wilde had been dating her “Don’t Worry Darling” colleague Harry Styles for a long time. “She approached him. She took the first step,” Sudeikis confided to his employees. A few weeks earlier, for example, they had kissed during a joint dinner with the film crew.
All just “anti-harassment campaign”?
A week later, an argument between the ex-couples in the common house escalated so much that Sudeikis crawled under her car in an attempt to prevent Wilde from dating Harry Styles. When the 38-year-old told her ex she was afraid of him, he replied, “If you’re afraid of me, why are you leaving your kids with me?” Wilde “went back into the house and he went in, it was back and forth. He said he did it on purpose so she would be late for Harry,” the former employee told the Daily Mail.
According to the nanny, Wilde’s departure sparked a spiral of erratic behavior in Sudeikis, including a deterioration in his drinking habits. On February 1, she was abruptly fired late at night by a “drunk and out of control” Sudeikis, who became enraged when she discovered she had texted Wilde. Messages between the 47-year-old and the employee who published the “Daily Mail” should prove this.
To defend themselves against the nanny’s accusations, Wilde and Sudeikis teamed up for a joint statement. “As a parent, it is incredibly disturbing to hear that a former nanny (…) would choose to make such false and despicable accusations about us publicly,” it said. “Your 18-month campaign to harass us, relatives, close friends and colleagues has reached its unfortunate climax.”
Olivia Wilde, 38, and Jason Sudeikis, eight years his senior, had been a couple since 2011 and got engaged in 2013. Son Otis was born in April 2014 and daughter Daisy in October 2016. In November 2020, Wilde and Sudeikis made their divorce. familiar. The actress has been in a relationship with 28-year-old musician Harry Styles since the beginning of 2021. According to the American celebrity portal “TMZ”, the two were first seen together at a wedding.
