The basketball community is stunned and many are demanding severe punishment for Green’s behavior. But NBA great Shaquille O’Neal is one of the few to publicly back Green.
The former Los Angeles Lakers star addressed this topic on the latest edition of his podcast, The Big Podcast with Shaq. He also applauded Green for confronting the media after his outburst.
Shaq said, “But guess what? He was a man about it because he spoke to the mainstream media about it.
“But guess what? Nobody really cares, they just act like they care. He punched in the face, it happens every day.
While Shaq may have a soft spot for Draymond Green, many others may not share his enthusiasm. Around the world, Warriors fans have called on the team to be tougher on Green.
