Hall of Famer boxer Floyd Mayweather is set to produce a documentary series about his life and career in the spotlight.
Mayweather is retired from professional boxing but remains active in the exhibition scene, as evidenced by recent exhibition wins over RIZIN’s Mikuru Asakura and former sparring partner Don Moore. He retired from professional boxing with an unbeaten 50-0 record following a victory over UFC star Conor McGregor in 2017.
Mayweather battled the “who’s who” of professional boxing during his 21-year career in the ring. He has won multiple world titles and is widely regarded as one of the greatest to ever be involved in boxing.
While Mayweather left it all in the ring, there are still many unanswered questions regarding what happened during his life and career in and out of sports. He will give fans a series of questions answered in an upcoming documentary project titled “The GOAT,” which is expected to launch at an undisclosed time.

During recent interview with TMZMayweather revealed her plans for the documentary and her goals for the project.
“I just think the world should see another part of Floyd Mayweather,” Mayweather said. “There are so many different sides to me. So many people walk away from what they hear…how I played the bad guy…they just think about the brilliance and a lot of arrogance, talk a lot. There are so many things that people will get to see.
“From 1996 until now. So many hours of footage, so many. 26 years of filming… I think people are going to wake up to a bang, they’re going to love this.
Mayweather has yet to announce an official timeline for when the documentary series will be available to the general public. He worked with several highly acclaimed Hollywood film producers, as well as businessman Robert Smith, to produce the project.
Mayweather hopes his documentary could be comparable to NBA great Michael Jordan’s “The Last Dance.” Like Jordan, Mayweather is also a sports superstar, and the documentary will touch on the ups and downs of the boxer’s life and his path to fame and fortune.
