Everyone’s new favorite sport, Car-Jitsu is back, and this time it presented some interesting choices in opponents to compete against.
Any true combat sports fan can tell you that for every sport like boxing or MMA, there are at least 8 variants of the sport that are weird and contain weird conditions or rules. The latest version of it to make waves is Car-Jitsu, which sees competitors engage in wrestling exchanges inside a car, from a seat-belt position.
Car-jitsu goes wild
Just when we thought Car-Jitsu couldn’t get any crazier, the latest edition decided to step up a gear. This time, as seen in a video posted on Twitterthe Russian organization Punch Club featured two contestants who are apparently porn stars, going head-to-head in a fight.
The videos saw actresses Elena Berkova and Dana Borisova go head-to-head in a convertible, with Berkova landing a rear naked choke in the first round, nearly having her top up, but unable to finish. Round two saw much the same, with Borisova once again struggling to remove her seatbelt and getting caught in a chokehold, this time tapping out.
Punch Club made waves with these Car-Jitsu fights, but this one in particular was rather one-sided, with Berkova capitalizing on Borisova’s poor seatbelt technique. One can’t help but wonder how this sport compares to phone booth fighting, team MMA, and other bizarre editions of combat sports.
Car-Jitsu was originally created by Vik Mikheev and is a complete system that has belt rankings and all. As a concept, it’s met with mixed reviews from fans, with some being entertained and feeling it’s a practical skill to learn, and others not seeing the appeal.
