The mother of musician Michael Penn and actors Sean and Chris Penn died on October 9 at her home in Malibu, California. The cause of death is unknown. “We Lost Mother Yesterday”, confirms Michael Penn on Twitter to an older photo of his mother. The musician also posted a broken heart emoji.
The actress first appeared in movies and television in the 1950s. She appeared in the films “Magnolia” and “The Power Game”. In 1986, she co-starred with her sons Chris and Sean in the movie At Close Range. She also appeared in productions such as “Bonanza”, “Our Little Farm” and “Matlock”.
